When you visit the Acceptance Agent to have your passport application executed (prepared so that you can send it to us for processing) the agent will collect a portion of the government fee as payment for their services. The Acceptance Agent will charge you a portion of the total Government Fee known as the execution fee. The fee is $35.00. The balance of the Government Fee is payable to the "US Department of State" by check or money order.
